Wow - the reviews on this dress are all over the place! I think that indicates that the dress is fine, but it all depends on your body shape.The fabric is ok - it's polyester, so it's relatively wrinkle free, lightweight, machine washable. The blue color is really pretty.I wanted to like this dress, but it doesn't fit correctly in the bust. Instead of looking like the model - casual/pretty - a large busted lady will have cleavage popping out and the twist front bodice pulled out of place. Again, it just depends on your body style and how you want the dress to fit.This dress is very nice. It fits great but, not sure if I'm gonna wear for formal dress cause it looks too much like a lounging/night gown. I'm 5'3" and 160lbs and a large fit perfectly. Love the gathers in the back.I like this gown very much, but it definitely is not a dress but a lounging-night gown. I'm 5'10 and the length is perfect and the color is a royal blue which I really like! My husband loved it on me, as well. It may be appropriate to wear at the beach, too!I bought this maxi dress for my mom. The fabric is thin and soft, it is very flattering because it's an empire waist style dress that doesn't cling to the skin. Also, being black, it minimizes any 'lumps and the neckline is appropriate and conservative and doesn't show much or any cleavage'. I had it altered to be shorter because it was too long for my 5'2" mom; but that's usually the case with most clothing for her height.The dress is comfortable, beautiful fabric and flowy. Medium fits a size 8 well. I think it will be perfect for the summer and travel. Would highly recommend! One star deducted as I have not attempted to wash/dry the dress yet. Will update the review accordingly if needed.For only $13 on sale I can't really complain but it's just ok. I'm not a big fan of the fabric but it's not uncomfortable. It also works well with a large chest.I am 5'9" tall and read reviews that said the medium would be long enough. I guess it's a matter if preference, but I like my long dresses to fall at my ankles and this one is a few inches short of that. Other than that, it fits well.Way too long, I am 5'5" and need to hem about 3 inches so it does not drag on the ground. The twisted piece in the middle is very poorly sown on, uneven stiches are visible.
