this order was my fist experience with notations brand. am pleased to find that it is not necessary to size up, generously true to size. read reviews that it was too large in bustline or unflattering. imo the problem there is the elastic. it is too tight at waist, causing fabric bulges above and below it. luckily elastic is easily taken out; 2 rows of elasticized thread that rips itself out when u get ahold of the right end.made all the difference. it is now an easy-fit flattering summer dress that barely pulls in at the inset waist, just flows. if you intend to take elastic out like I did, I would say size down 1. this lined dress is not easily taken in.the quality is apparent. well made. stretchy lace lined with stretchy-silky fabric. hits right across knee, am 5'5".could even accessorize to wear as a short wedding dress, who would know? perfect for a bride on a budget!The color seems a little brighter in person, I would describe it as a bright aqua. I'm a curvier girl, 5'4" and 145lbs, with a large chest (34DD) and the dress was still a little big in the top (I bought a small, I usually buy a medium in most clothing).I can wear it but the material flares out in the seam under the armpits. I might try to put a stitch or two in the area or take it in and have them put a dart in. Good length, goes almost right to my knees, so I can wear it to work!Needed it for a business trip dinner. Looked good and traveled well.Love this dress!! So comfy and cute!! Easy to wear but still stylish!Fits great and is really pretty. Awesome price too.Color is beautiful. I usually ask for medium. Always fit good. I don't know why I asked a large for this dress . It's too big for me overall in the chest.Maybe I'll order the same on medium because it's really gorgeous, color, material, length. ..
