UPDATE: Woman Within needs to edit the description! The new prints have ZERO cotton. They are 65% polyester + 35% rayon. I usually avoid rayon because most of the time it doesn't hold up well. However, these have washed up really nicely; no wrinkles or pilling. The fabric is soft, but thinner than the older ones made with cotton. They will be fine this summer but I'm not confident they are going hold up to repeat launderings like my older ones. They turned a SOLID 5 STAR item into a 3 star item.ORIGINALI've had a couple of these dresses for about 5 years. My favorite feature on these dresses that I haven't found elsewhere is the sleeve length. All of mine come down to my elbows- actually a bit beyond my elbows as I have short arms. They are 60% cotton + 40% polyester which is a great blend for long lasting garments. Since the pandemic-mandated quarantine, I have lived in these. That's why I need to buy several more of them.All of mine are prints, and none have the breast pocket shown in the photos. But they DO have a pocket on either side and they are a nice size. Best of all, they have never tried to turn themselves out like some do when they are sewn into the side seam. I can't stand pockets that do that.This style is not particularly flattering (definitely not slimming), but it is super comfortable. For me, this is an "around the house" garment. Personally, I would not wear this to go grocery shopping, but I only wear long pants in public. If you have nice legs and normal feet, there isn't any reason you couldn't venture out while wearing this dress. (I have freakishly wide feet so I mostly wear crocs with socks- not a good look when wearing a dress or shorts. Just saying... there's casual, then there's sloppy.)I am very impressed at how well the older ones have held up after countless trips through the washer. I put them in the drier for 10-15 minutes, then hang to finish drying. That's how I launder all my cotton clothing and most of the remainder. The ONLY things I don’t like is that there are not more patterns from which to choose, and that you are buying directly from “Full Beauty” who owns Woman Within. I’m spoiled with Prime & the free returns, which you will not get ☹️ if you have to return something that doesn’t fit. Fortunately, this style is very forgiving when it comes to fit & figure flaws.I love this style dress, to me its a classic one that can be dressy or casual depending on the accessories you use. The fit was perfect, I am a little over 5'2" and weigh 220 lbs, no need to take up the hem, the sleeves were not too tight either. I have three of these dresses, one in magenta, navy and turquoise...I wash on gentle cycle and hang to dry.I ordered this dress to use as a swimsuit cover up. Material was thin enough for this purpose and draped nicely. Satisfied with purchase.I am in my seventies and have limited mobility in my shoulders This dress slips right over my head and I am ready to go!! Yes, the dress material is thin and prefect for the hot summers in North Carolina. I have several of these dresses and will continue to order especially with the new prints. I am a solid 3X and this dress is a little big but I think a 2X would be too tight in the sleeves.The fabric is nice but I think it shrunk a little in the wash. It did not wrinkle very much which is nice.It's cute, easy & comfortable wearing, cool for summer, good quality knit, 100% cotton (hooray!!! finally found something with no polyester! Why can't they all do more of that? ) I think the sizes are pretty accurate. The length is great! I'm 4'11" , about 160 lbs., 69 years old, if that helps. It hits just below my knee - not too short for these ugly knees, and not too long like most things on me! And the price is good!Fits great! Beautiful dress!I have bought several things from WW so expected the dress to be good. It comes a little below my knees and has room without being baggy. It is light and cool though I wish it had more cotton and a little less polyester.
